Student Placements

Our commitment to affordability ensures that financial constraints don't prevent access to vital mental health support. We also nurture future professionals through our student placement programme, carefully matching trainee counsellors with suitable clients and providing monthly group supervision.

Our experienced counsellors create a supportive, non-judgmental space for clients to explore feelings, overcome challenges, and build resilience. Whether dealing with personal issues, relationship difficulties, or family dynamics, we aim to empower clients to navigate life's complexities.

In addition to our client services, Insecurity Counselling is invested in nurturing the next generation of mental health professionals. We offer student placements, providing valuable hands-on experience to aspiring counsellors and therapists. Through our careful matching process, we ensure that student counsellors are paired with clients whose needs align with their current level of expertise, fostering a safe and effective learning environment. As part of our commitment to developing skilled practitioners, we provide group supervision for three hours each month to our student counsellors. This initiative not only supports our current operations but also contributes to the long-term mental health infrastructure of our community.

At the core of our mission is a deep-seated belief in the importance of mental health. We strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment where individuals and couples can explore their feelings, overcome challenges, and develop resilience. By offering professional counselling services, we aim to empower our clients, helping them navigate life's complexities and achieve emotional well-being.

Through our multifaceted approach, Insecurity Counselling is dedicated to fostering a healthier, more emotionally resilient community, one individual and relationship at a time.
